Sophie Hatton

I have been involved in Pilates since 2002, when injury and pregnancy first led me to the practice. From the start, I was captivated — it not only strengthened my body and sharpened my focus, but guided me through major life changes, offering balance, clarity and resilience.

After three children, four major house moves and reaching a crossroads in my life, I embarked on comprehensive Classical Pilates training and went on to open Pilates Works, a calm and sophisticated studio offering tower, reformer, mat and barre. Designed as a refined space to move, we are the only Classical Pilates equipment studio in Merseyside.

In 2021, Reformer Retreats was launched to bring the very best Classical Pilates to beautiful, considered spaces. Rooted in the belief that architecture and interiors are central to restorative wellness, we curate environments where indoor and outdoor living flow effortlessly, allowing guests to slow down, reconnect and fully immerse themselves in their own wellbeing. Each retreat combines Classical Pilates, restorative wellness, plant-based fine dining and considered design, creating transformative escapes that nourish body, mind and soul.

I remain committed to sharing the original work of Joseph Pilates, helping clients make time to feel better, move better and look better.
