We'd love you join us at our winter retreat in Cornwall. Our retreat venue is a stunning and luxurious eco-friendly beach front house with unbelievable views, stunning interiors and uber-cool Cornish architecture. So no matter what the weather, you see it, feel it and can either get outside and enjoy the beach and coastal walks or cosy up next to the fire and watch the weather from the most beautiful space.
This is our second pilates retreat to be hosted at this contemporary coastal house - which has its very own architect designed pilates/yoga studio with sliding doors that open up over the garden and fire pit area creating a beautiful indoor/outdoor space to workout.
This 3 night/4 day retreat will challenge, inspire and deepen your pilates practice with our 2 teachers, Sophie & Louise, working you out on Classical reformers and Wunda Chairs, which are transported from Sophie's pilates studio, Pilates Works.
Every detail of the retreat has been carefully considered to create a well balanced schedule of daily movement practices to include duets on the reformers and wunda chairs, a group mat class, breathwork and relaxation, cookery demonstrations, coastal walks and mealtimes around the most welcoming dining table with the most spectacular views.
A holistic massage therapist will be on hand for treatments should you wish to book.
There is an abundance of indoor and outdoor space within the house and its grounds, the centre piece is a stunning lounge with the most incredible sea views, a sunken private snug and a calm seating area looking back towards the gardens. There is also a games room/video room.
Outside there is a beautiful outdoor kitchen and eating area with a braii bbq to keep you warm, a fire pit with seating area, contemporary gardens, raised balconies around the house and the property is only a few steps away from the beach and coastal walks. So despite it being November, you will get plenty of opportunity to breathe in the fresh Cornish sea air whether you decide to walk the coastal paths or sit out of the wind on the balcony.

The Food
We believe that mealtimes, after pilates, is at the heart of our luxury retreats and we have our own personal chef for the weekend offering nourishing, sustainably sourced menu.
Our chef’s for the weekend are husband and wife team Georgie & Josh, who are classically and internationally trained, they love to cook food from all round the world but specialise in Thai, Greek and modern British cuisines.
Between them they have worked at Rick Stein's in Padstow, and Michelin starred Driftwood and Gidleigh Park.
Over the weekend you will enjoy delicious meals each day using seasonal, wholesome and fresh ingredients, sourced from local Cornish suppliers, fishermen and farmers.
On the final night, guests will enjoy a taster menu.
We can cater for most dietary requirements.
Location:
By Car: The property is located in Porthcothen, Northern Cornwall between Padstow and Newquay. As well as ample parking, there's an electric car charger.
By Train: Bodmin Parkway or St Austell - both approx 35 mins away by car/taxi
By Air: Newquay airport is less than 15 minutes away. Flights from London Gatwick, Manchester & Edinburgh will bring you to the retreat in just over an hour and all have flight times that co-incide with the retreat timings.

Master bedroom with En-suite
This room enjoys dual-aspect views over the beach and surrounding garden. The Scandi-esque interiors running through the house blend light wooden textures with industrial-style accents, from the triple wardrobes that flank the room, to the inviting day sofa.
Bedroom Two with En-suite
A peaceful pocket at the front of the house, bedroom two shares the perfectly framed sea view and overlooks the front gardens of the house . This room can be either a double or twin.
Finished in brilliant whites and soft greys, the home’s signature style is echoed throughout this bedroom. Its private position means it’s separated from the other rooms.
Bedroom Three with En-suite
High-vaulted ceilings and vast sliding doors make this king sized or twin bedroom feel light, bright and airy. Large built-in wardrobes provide plenty of storage for belongings, while a dressing table is accompanied by a soft sheepskin armchair.
Bedroom Four with En-suite
A mirror image of bedroom three, this calming sanctuary echoes the same luxurious interiors and is complete with kingsized or twin beds, built-in wardrobes, a dressing table and armchair.
As well as large sliding doors that lead straight out onto the garden, there’s a heavenly en-suite with a waterfall shower.
Bedroom Five with En-suite
Minimal in design, this twin bedroom complements the home’s unique industrial style, with light wooden furnishings and bold metal fixtures.
The en-suite is finished in Tadelakt - a unique Moroccan polished plaster. As well as monochrome accents, it also features ‘his and hers’ sinks, a waterfall shower and a bath tub.
